A Taste of His Own Medicine! Muhahahahaha!

Saturday night, Danny, Nick and I went to our good friend Colette's house, for a murder mystery dinner party. We all dressed up as different character's. Danny was Collum Inches, the tall, dark, handsome and mysterious journalist. Nick was the french man, Luc Du Mifur-Elp. And I was Marie Mee, an actress, and the gold digging and fortune lusting girlfriend of Monty's adopted son. Nathaniel and 'Jane' also attended the party, Nathaniel as Hurry Montague, the spoiled adopted son of Monty Montague, who was the murder victim.( Monty, not Nathaniel). 'Jane' as May B. Gudasgold, the half-sister of Monty's sister, who committed suicide, three years ago. Colette was Leonora Lacey-Draws, the mistress of Monty and lover of Danny(oh, pardon me, Colum). The party twas very fun, though it did have a couple parts that were rather, shall we say, PG13. But we didn't know at the time that those parts were in the game. Dinner was spaghetti and garlic bread and was delicious. And the murder mystery was very fun and amusing. Nick, or should I say Luc, and May B. Gudasgold were discovered to be lovers, and Colum and Leonora, as I've already said, were discover to be lovers also. Marie and Hurry were found to be the murderers of Monty's wife. And all of us had dark secrets and turned out to be rather godless, bad people. Nick was a Herbalist, who gave people herbs, that were. . . well special, as they were imported from South America. Leonora was on the Nazi's side. I was Hurry's assistant, when he murdered his mother. I also was rather immoral, it seems. ( on a side note, I was NOT happy when I found out about my character's life style). Hurry was the murderer of his mother, as I've said. And May had the past of a black-mailer, gambler and the like, and had a drinking problem. And Colum was discover to be the father of Hurry ( that was entertaining, as Nathaniel is only 2 1/2 years younger then Danny) as well as the would be murderer of May. Unfortunately, Monty drank the drugged whiskey, instead of May, and so Danny was the murderer of Michael (Monty) Montague! Danny was also discover to be very unstable. It twas a very, very, fun and amusing evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(despite the bad parts).

On a totally different subject, Tuesday, at karate, I was tested for my yellow belt, and thankfully passed. I am now a Yellow Belt. I am happy! I got to sparr Tuesday too, which I love to do, despite being punched and kicked! We also got to watch half of Mansfield Park, which was fun, though it is nothing like the book, and they have ruined it immensely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today we went to my grandparents house to visit. My grandma is doing much better now, though she is still, of course, in a wheel chair. She can't put any weight on her leg right now. My Aunt Lynn came over too, and I enjoyed visiting with grandma and grandpa, and with Aunty Lynn. Twas fun.
Anyway, I have had a fun couple of days and am thankful for the Lords blessings He bestows upon me and my family. Tomorrow Danny, Nathaniel, 'Jane', Colette, and I are going to the house of a man from our church who is very sick, and are play Canon in D for him, as he likes that song a lot. We are also going to be playing his favorite hymn, which is 'It Is Well With My Soul'. Hopefully we can bless his day.

Well that is all for now. Au Revoir.

In our defense we didn't know about the PG-13 stuff and once we found out kind of toned it down and/or made fun of it! But it was soo much fun. I think I almost died of laughter that night. And now, of course, I'm planning my own party. I loved how on page two of Colum's card it said "YOU ARE THE MURDER". I find that funny.

I am sooo proud of you for passing your test, Dearest. You are awesome! Can't wait to see you later today!

Yes, it was very amusing, and I think we all laughed the entire time. Danny did a good job staying calm. I think I would have given myself away, had I read, "YOU ARE THE MURDERER" on my card.
See ya later.
