As the rain falls swiftly to the ground,
cleansing away all impurities,
I let go of my insecurities
and to my Creator, I bow down.
As the wind whistles through the oak trees
I gaze up unto the cloudy skies,
softly raindrops fall into my eyes,
and praising God, I fall to my knees.
As I kneel, the rain pours over me
Oh Lord, please won't You cleanse my soul
won't you heal my heart and make it whole,
Take away my sins and set me free.
As the rain falls swiftly to the ground
Lord cleanse me of all impurities,
take away my insecurities
cleansing away all impurities,
I let go of my insecurities
and to my Creator, I bow down.
As the wind whistles through the oak trees
I gaze up unto the cloudy skies,
softly raindrops fall into my eyes,
and praising God, I fall to my knees.
As I kneel, the rain pours over me
Oh Lord, please won't You cleanse my soul
won't you heal my heart and make it whole,
Take away my sins and set me free.
As the rain falls swiftly to the ground
Lord cleanse me of all impurities,
take away my insecurities
Lord, in Your forgiveness, let me drown.
