Busy life

So, lots of things have been a happenin' lately. This week has been busy. Last Tuesday, my grandpa had major heart surgery. My parents went down to the hospital for the day, while us kids stayed home, did school, and watched movies, and such like. The operation ended up being 9 1/2 hours long. Thankfully, my grandpa is doing okay, though in lots of pain. Pray that he will continue to recover and heal well. Also, pray for my grandma, who is having some health issues too.

Wednesday was a day of Dr. appointments. Nick's appointment was first, for some poison oak that he has on his face, arm, hand, and feet. He got a shot for that. Then my appointment with Dr. Chips came next! (Dr. Chips name is spelled 'Chipps' but....I like it better with just one 'p'). Anyways, my appointment was to try and figure out why I keep getting sick ALL. THE. TIME. I had allergy testing for the 45 most common allergens and wasn't allergic to any! He also gave me two different nose sprays, some pills for something or other, and a nasal rinse thingy. Fun. I go back to see him in 3 weeks. And.....I'm down with another cold again. Just to prove my point to the Dr. that I get sick constantly, I guess.....lol. sigh.

Thursday, Danny, Nick and Samantha were promoted to their new belts, at Karate class. I wasn't able to come and see them promoted though, unfortunately, as I was sick. But yay to them! Danny and Nick are another degree of brown now, and Samantha is now a green belt! Yeah!

Today is a good day! It's a good day, because our friends, the H. family, are coming up for a visit! I love it when we get to visit with them! My cold is better today too, which is nice. At least my throat doesn't hurt anymore. It's moved into my chest though, which me no likey.

Well, that, that, that's all folks! For now anyways. TTFN, Ta ta for now! :)

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
