Well!

I was going to blog about our latest camping trip and post tons of pictures that I took on our weekend get a way. buuut.........my camera, which I loved and took pride and joy in........is dead. It's screen got smashed in when I half tripped and my hip....and pocket, which had my camera in it.....knocked into a chair. :( :( This is tragic. Especially since I can't afford a new camera. I am scrapping together every penny and dime I can get together, for college. Soooo.......no pictures all summer. This is very very very sad. Needless to say, I've been a bit down today. But, as one of my friends reminded me, I can find joy in today because the Lord has given me another day to live to serve Him!

Back to the camping trip, it was a very fun time. It was nice to get away from reality and just relax and have a good, fun, family time! I love camping! It's my favorite! We got to go swimming in the lake (though let me tell you, that water was sure disgustingly dirty!) and watched so RC boat racing that was going on that weekend. The camping trip gave me some fresh inspiration for song/poem writing, too! And that, my friends, is a good thing! I have a brand new song/poem now. Yes, the camping trip was quite good! God has been good to us, and continues to be good to us!

In other news, I have been working for various people in my Church Family, trying to earn enough money to attend CBU. Annnd........drum roll please.......the decision has been officially made! I am going to CBU! I am committed now. Now this is all fine and dandy, and I'm excited and all but.........I need money! I am still short in the money department, and so far, I do not have enough money to pay for CBU. I'm working on that. But sometimes, I get a little stressed about this whole thing. and worried. I know that God is in control, and that if He wants me there, He will provide the money. But sometimes, I can't help getting concerned and worried and stressed and Ahhhhh! Sometimes, it's just overwhelming.

To add to my stress (sorta) , I GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL IN 9 DAYS!!!!!!!!! And some people that that day would never come. ha. (I'm joking of course, lol). eyiyiyiyiyiyi! I will be glad when graduation is gone and I don't have to worry about it and deal with it.

Oh, annd, there was an epic shopping trip that I lately went on, but, that is for another blog post. I shall leave you folks now. But......any money you wish to hand out to me, I will gladly welcome. Hundred dollar bills are welcome. You can even write out thousand dollar checks for me. ;) hehe
