Last Saturday my Colettey and I went adventuring! We were going to a River Cats game that night, with Danny and his college Bible study group, and so we decided to make a day out of it. She came over in the morning to pick Danny, Nick, and I, up around 8. We dropped Danny and Nick off at Danny's work. Nick was getting picked up from there by his friend Michael, and spent the day at Michael's house. With our iced coffee's in hand, we cruised around, stopping at various thrift stores, Walmart, Kmart and a grocery store. For lunch, we headed to the Sutter Creek Park and had a glorious picnic! After our picnic, we went over to the Black Bart Day thing that was going on in Sutter Creek, for a few minutes, before continuing our shopping and cruising. We also had to rescue my family later that afternoon, when their Suburban broke down, as they were headed home from town. After the rescue, we headed back into town, stopped by Java Drive, and then drove over to Danny's work, to pick him back up. And by the way, Java Drive's Pina Colada smoothie is wonderful!!!!! The River Cats game was quite fun, although.....not knowing much about baseball.....it took me awhile to figure out that the game had started. Ahem. But, once I DID figure that out....and which team was which.....it was interesting. The River Cats won, too, which was cool. Oh yes.....it was a wonderful epic adventure!
