ALOOOOOOOOHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last week was a blast. I spent the whole week at Outrigger Island, Sierra Baptist Church's V.B.S. I helped with the nursery with my mom, and with 5th and 6th grade. Despite the chaos and noise, it was a very fun time. From freezing cold hose showers every morning with Jane and Mitchel, catchy tunes from Darla, that stayed in your head for hours on end, mission time with Jasmine and Edd Brown learning about missionaries, playing games, and getting drenched with water on Friday, whilst running an obstacle coarse, there was endless fun. Who could forget those delicious treats during Luau! Plus the awesome crafts and the daily Bible lessons! Oh yeah, there certainly was heaps of fun during my week long stay on Outrigger Island.
The Best part was Friday night when all the islanders and their parents came, and the islanders preformed their class's special song. There was even a play, put on by Mitchel, Andrew, Jane, and me. As special as Friday night was, it turned out to be even more special! During the play, in the scene where one of the character's was asking Jesus in to her heart, a little boy, with the help of his V.B.S. teacher, asked Jesus into his heart. PRAISE GOD!!! That made all the work that we did worth it.
My Aunt and Uncle even came up Friday night! The only thing that would have made the night even better would have been if I hadn't been losing my voice due to a cold. But God was good and didn't let my voice give out until the next day.
Outrigger Island was an awesome experience, one that I won't forget anytime soon. I can hardly wait till next year when we'll head off to Australia!
On a side note, I am very sick of being sick, and hope I get over this cold SOON!!!!!!!! I have had it since Thursday, and am ready to be well again.
And today, since I couldn't go to church, after listening to a sermon by Pastor Dave, who is really good by the way, Samantha, Rebecca and I watched Emma, on youtube. Mr. Knightly ROCKS, by the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want one.
Well, till next time, Aloha!

Twas a wonderful was it not my dearest sister! And to think God used our VBS and our little drama to help lead a boy to Christ! I there was at least one another salvation that week. A little girl. Don't know her name. I had such a fun week. We now have just a little under 365 days till we can do it again!!
I am soo sorry you are sick! I was praying it would just be allergies. They need to take those tonsils of yours out, dearest.
Missed you at church. Get better soon! Love you!
Jane
I have been begging them to take my tonsils our for a very long time, but they won't.
I missed you Sunday too, but I got to watch Emma, so that helped to bring my spirits back up. I just got to watch "Persuasion" today, also, and I absolutlly LOVED it!
Well, got to feed Jackson his lunch.
Love ya too!
Lizzy
Hey there Lizzy, I want to add my wishes for a speedy recovery. Tonsils do serve a purpose or God wouldn't have given them to you. Hot tea to soothe the throat is my recomendation for what it is worth. Get well soon.
