Drivers...Start your engines!

Well, yesterday night was the big night. The exciting, super-duper, awesome, Grand Prix race, at AWANA. The racers were raring to go, the cars revving up, and I must say...it got kinda wild in that there church! :) Sure the cars were made out of wood....so what. Samantha and her patriotic Flag car, got a trophy, for design, I believe. And Nick also got a trophy for the same thing, with his sea dragon car, which, by the way, was awesome! Becca's 'Daddy's Nap' car, shaped as a bed, complete with a doll house man, pillow and blanket, got a thumbs up too, and she took home a trophy. Joey and I didn't get a trophy, but it was still fun. Sissy Jane, came in second place! Mitchel, of course, as always, came in first, but....we'll get him next year. It was an exciting night filled with fun, despite the glitches in the computer program. Besides, the glitches and problems made time for Mr. Burkey to entertain us. And entertain us he did. He is very good at that though, so that shouldn't be surprising. We got to see Devin show up his fast hopping, and Burlie show off his skills, by doing the worm! Not only that, Mr. C (I have no idea how to spell his last name, and I'm too lazy to go look it up, so you'll just have to deal with the C.) was called up there on stage to do some awesome moon walking; even if he had no idea what he was doing, it was still good!

So, yes, it was a very fun, entertaining night! And we'll be back! We shall be back and we will win!(or we'll lose, and...and then we....we won't....) :)
