Well, I'm still coughing my guts out, and using a million Kleenex's a day(I know ya'll wanted to hear about that!) but I am feeling alot better; when I'm not bent over coughing up a storm! My life has improved though. Coletty ended up braving my germs and coming over for dinner, and my sore throat has been completely gone since Saturday. My cold has left me along with my fever, so I'm just fighting a sinus infection now. And I was able to attend church on Sunday, which was nice. I was afraid that I wouldn't be well enough to go, but I was! And a lady accepted Christ Sunday which was AWESOME! Of course, during the evening service I really didn't hear a word the Pastor said, since I was concentrating on not hacking throughout the sermon, and was gone from the sanctuary for half of the time, due to, well, hacking. The coughing seems to increase at night for some reason, which is highly inconvenient. It drives me nuts at night when I'm trying to sleep. And I'll cough non stop for over thirty seconds at times. GRRRR! But oh well. The antibiotics I'm taking should kick in to action soon; I hope so anyway, since I only have one pill left! But, moving on to more interesting, or at least less whining and annoying as well as boring news..........
Mom and I have gone Granola! Or in my sweet friend *Jane's* words, 'hippie'. In other words, we now use our homemade shampoo, and our homemade hair conditioner. Homemade soap would be added in the list of homemade things we are using, but it didn't exactly turn out right, and so we are not using homemade soap as of right now. But I digress. Anyways, no matter how 'Granola' or 'Hippie' it is, I happen to enjoy not having a scalp that itches, and burns and pricks, because of Dandruff, and past perms, whilst still having clean hair. And, come on, making your own shampoo is kinda fun! Mom has even discovered that with out the store bought chemically shampoo, she has curls! Small, slight curls, but curls none the less. And if she continues to shun store shampoo, those little curls might grow into bigger curls!
Oh, by the way, trivia question for ya'll. What do you get when a little three and a half year old boy takes a nap that's too short, and doesn't get his way? Constant screaming for ten whole minutes!!!!!!!! FUN!!!!!!!!!! Of course, the little three year old in our house would never do that! Oh never! (of course that was when I locked him up in the shed to keep the spiders company! He shut up after that! just kidding!) :)
