An Older Brother
I think that every girl should
have an older brother,
to love and be loved by,
to defend and be defended by;
to be protected by
and to cherish and be cherished by.
An older brother does all
of that and more.
He offers sympathy when
your hurting,
He cheers you up when you are down.
Oh, older brothers are
wonderful things,
Sometimes not understood,
And often scorned.
It seems to me they
do not get
the credit and love they so
deserve.
I really think girls
that we should be
a little more appreciative
of the older brothers in our
lives.
My older brother means so much
to me,
He’s been so ever kind to
me,
I really think so much of him
and hope that you can say the same.

I wanted someone to hold me tight,

I found this Someone in Jesus Christ,

He’s given me hope and redemption as well,

Abortion
The blood of the innocent cry out
the lifeless bodies seem to scream
the babies who were treated
so brutally, unwanted
and unloved, Jesus
takes them in His
arms and gives
them His
Love.

Silently she drifts away
no one notices and no one cares
it was their laughter that hurt her each day.
"I won’t care, I won’t cry" everyday she swears.
Love is all she really wants
But all she gets are people’s taunts.
So she hardens up her heart
no more will their stinging words smart.
She slips away further each day,
looking for a purpose, looking for love,
But no one cares and no one knows
and so love she is deprived of.
"She a gothic freak" is what they suppose.
And so of course, she, they oppose.
She’s losing ground.
If she cries, in her tears she will be drowned.
Jesus, bring that girl your light,
illuminate her life with you.
Show her that you’ll wash her white,
if she’ll just believe you’ll make her new.
Show her your gift of salvation
before she kills herself in desperation.
God bring use some one to reach her soon,
for if you don’t her hope will be hewn.
