Before I ramble on and on about stuff that interests no one but me, I have a couple of prayer requests.
One, for Steven Curtis Chapman and his family. Their five year old daughter was killed in a tragic accident. You can read more about it here http://www.stevencurtischapman.com/
Second for the Lockwood family, who are missionaries in Mexico. Mr. Lockwood was dianoised with cancer recently, and he is not doing to good. Please pray for him and his family. You can read more about them on their blog. http://lockwoodfamily.blogspot.com/
The past two weeks we have been sick with some kind of stomach virus. We are now just getting over it. THANKFULLY! I am very sick of being sick! And I really hope that we don't get sick again really soon because one of my best friends, who I have not seen in four years is flying out to California Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is staying with us for a week and I am VERY EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a totally different topic, I have decided this past week that I absolutly LOVE Paul Washer, and that the world needs more men like him. He says it like it really is, and though it hurts him to be so rejected by the people he speaks to, he does it because he wants to warn them away from hell. Jesus said that, 'If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (John 15: 18-17) Well, those who have listened to Mr. Washer speak hate him, and teens who went to hear him speak gnashed their teeth at him and waited outside to throw water balloons at him and his wife when they left. Yes, the world hates him but he will get his reward in heaven. Unlike Rick Warren, who is loved by the world, not hated, and teaches fasle doctrine. But, that is another post.

(didn't I tell you I was an oppionionated blogger? I know lots of baptists, and other people love him and think he's great. I think he's nothing more then a false prophet, who lies through his teeth. But I digress).
Yesterday night we went to AWANA for the last time this year. It was AWANA Awards Night, and was pretty neat. I am kinda sad that it is over, but I am also kinda glad. Life can slow down now; I hope!
I leave you with the lyrics to two songs which relate to me and my feelings.
The first:
Average Girl
by BarlowGirl
So what I'm not your average girl
I don't meet the standards of this world
Chasing after boys is not my thing
See I'm waiting for a wedding ring
No more dating
I'm just waiting
Like sleeping beauty
My prince will come for me
No more dating
I'm just waiting'
Cause God is writing my love story
Boys are bad that's certainly not true
'Cause God's preparing one for you
If you get tired waiting till he comes
Gods arms are the perfect place to run
Sleep that's the only thing
For me 'cause when I sleep God's
Preparing one for me.
The second:
Single
by Natasha Bedingfield
Ah yeah that's right
All you single people out there
This is for you
Yeah
I'm not waiting around for a man to save me('Cos I'm happy where I am)
Don't depend on a guy to validate me(No no)
I don't need to be anyone's baby(Is that so hard to understand?)
No I don't need another half to make me... whole
Make your move if you want
Doesn't mean I will or won't
I'm free to make my mind up
You either got it or you don't
[Chorus:]This is my current single status
My declaration of independence
There's no way I'm trading places
Right now a star's in the ascendant
I'm single(Right now)
That's how I wanna be
I'm single(Right now)
That's how I'm gonna be
Ah yeah uh huh that's right
Don't need to be on somebody's arm to look good(I like who I am)
I'm not saying I don't wanna fall in love 'cos I would
I'm not gonna get hooked up just 'cos you say I should(Can't romance on demand)
I'm gonna wait so I'm sorry if you misunderstood
[Repeat Chorus]
This is my current single status
My declaration of independence
There's no way I'm trading places
Right now a star's in the ascendant
I'm single(Right now)
That's how I wanna be
I'm single(Right now)
That's how I'm gonna be
I'm single(Right now)
That's how I wanna be
I'm single
Everything in it's right time
everything in its right place
I know I'll settle down one day
But 'til then I like it this way... it's my way
Yes I like it this way
Make your move if you want
doesn't mean I will or won't
I'm free to make my mind up
you either got it or you don't
'Til then I'm single
This is my current single status
My declaration of independence
There's no way I'm trading place
sRight now a star's in the ascendant
While I don't agree completely with this song, I do like the verses, just not the chorus.
bye for now.
Yours truly
Elizabeth Bennet

ON COME ON!! I was soo happy! Mr. Bingly is coming over on Friday! And now you inform me that Steven Curtis Chapman daughter is dead?! HOW SAD!!!!! *cry* Ok, guess that's all I have to say. Talk to you later!
Jane
Sorry! It is SO SAD though. On his website they have a video of him and the daughter that was killed and she was so cute! I was really depressed when I found out about it.
I hope you have fun with Mr. Bingly. (behave)
See ya Sunday!
Lizzy
I did behave! Well..... mostly.
Hey, I dind't know you were a fun of Natasha Bedingfield. Did think you liked that style of music. Learn new things everyday. Hope to maybe see you at the belt test tonight.
Jane
I have only heard that one song by her and I kinda liked. I haven't heard any of her others songs so I really don't know if I like her though. Do you know if she is a Christian? I was just wondering. See ya Sunday!
No, she is not a Christian artist. Her album, Unwritten, has some minor problems. i.e. I Bruise Easily and Frogs & Princes hint and sexual stuff outside of marriage, Drop Me In The Middle and Wild Horses have a cuss word each. Which is sad 'cause Wild Horses is a wonderful song! You album Pocket Full of Sunshine is better! The only thing bad I can say about it is "Who Knows" finds the singer falling for a guy "too fast" and against her better judgment ("My self-control, it won't hold up for very long"). Her first album leaves some to be desired, but her second, Pocket Full of Sunshine, is one that I could with a clear mind recommend.
Ok, so maybe they're not that minor problems.
yeah, I doubt if I'll listen to any of her other music. I just liked that one song.
It's a R&B/ Hip-Hop/ Rap style so I was surprised to see that song. I didn't think you liked that style. But it is a good song! I love it!
I usually don't like that style, but for some reason I liked that song.
